I wanted a nontraditional engagement ring with a vintage feel. The emerald-cut shape, four gold prongs and sparkling halo are such a pretty combination. It feels personal rather than generic.
It has enough color to stand out, but the center stone isn��t so large that it feels difficult to wear. I��ve worn it with casual clothes and dresses, and it works with both.
The turquoise appears a little brighter blue in daylight than it did on my screen. It surprised me at first, but I actually prefer the more vivid color. The dark veining is very attractive.
I initially chose this ring for the turquoise, but the small stones around the center and along the band are what make it feel special. They add sparkle without overpowering the blue stone.
The halo gives it a lovely vintage look, but the rectangular center stone keeps the design clean and modern. The yellow gold and turquoise combination is even prettier in person.
The turquoise is a beautiful bright blue and the darker veining makes it feel completely different from a traditional engagement ring. I love that no part of the stone looks plain or ordinary.
